Asher met Grandpa Rod for the first time yesterday. Steve's dad was in town just for a day for work, so we got to meet up for dinner and introduce him to his grandson. Never have I so quickly seen such a big guy turn into such a sappy teddy bear! Grandpa was absolutely enthralled with meeting his grandson for the first time, and it was so cute!The grandparent mayhem will continue for the next few weeks. My mom's flying in for a visit on Monday and has literally been emailing me every single day for the last month telling me how excited she is to meet Asher.
We'll head to St. Louis over labor day weekend to see Grandpa Rod again and introduce Asher to Grandma Rod.
Two weeks after that my dad and stepmom are coming to make their introductions.
It should be a busy month with lots of family time!

I love that Asher got all dressed up to see his Grandpa! It almost looks like the stripes of his tie matches Grandpa's shirt!
I know, isn't it a cute little onesie? My friend Amanda made it and he's got a lot of her other cute designs as well, so I'm happy he fits in them now! He's actually fitting into a lot of his 3-6 month clothes at just 5 weeks. I think it's the bulky cloth diapers - puts new meaning into "baby got back!" :)
Love that Asher is getting to meet his family!
