Things have been a little crazy around here. We're working on getting new windows in our house before this tax credit expires, and we've had a different window company in every night last week and even on the weekend to give us quotes. Needless to say we've seen enough window presentations to last us a lifetime. On the flip side, we're so glad we're shopping around because we've got quotes all the way from $4,200.00 up to $14,000.00.
We also had a super busy weekend. Friday night Steve and I went out to dinner and left Asher with friends for the very first time! It was great and I didn't worry one bit, although I did miss the little guy. This is only the second time I've ever been separated from our little Ash-man. It was kind of nice to get away, but I will admit that I gave the little guy some extra snuggles when we got home because I missed him so much!
Saturday morning we had another window demonstration and then met up with the Roberts downtown for some lunch. It was such a beautiful day to walk around on State street and do some people watching!
Steve and Chris were more interested in the low-riders though.
Saturday night Steve made some Chimichangas and we took them over to have dinner with some friends. So good! I love having a husband who is an excellent cook!
Sunday was just as full as Saturday - church, leadership meeting, birthday party, grocery shopping and coffee with friends.
I'm so ready for life to slow down!
Sam is away somewhere in the world racing, so Sara and Amelia are flying in from Montana to hang out with me for the week. I am SOOOOO excited to have my good friend here for some much needed girl time!
