And here I am at 25 weeks! I'm feeling so large and in charge and have found that I'm having to start getting really creative with my clothing selections as not a whole lot fits me anymore.
My boss was surprised to see me wearing a skirt and leggings the other day, until I told her to get used to it, because not a whole lot else was fitting me. I might just be wearing a skirt for the rest of my pregnancy - and I am SO not a skirt kinda gal. Good thing I do lots of laundry!
I'm feeling our little guy move around a lot now. Somedays more than others. I've found that I think he likes (or maybe it's actually that he hates) the sounds of percussion. Anytime I'm listening to music that has a lot of Congo's or Djembe sounds to it he starts kicking like crazy! It's so funny. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the fact that I've given up playing keyboard for awhile and have been playing the Djembe at church for our worship service for most of my pregnancy.
I think the fact that there's a baby in my belly has become a whole lot more real to Steve now too, since he can feel our little guy kicking me. A few times he's kicked me so hard that it's actually hurt, but most of the time I just find it cute. These last few days it's been particulary entertaining to watch my belly and see what looks like a Tsunami is going on in there! Maybe our little guy likes to do the wave?
I have another midwife appointment this afternoon, and am praying that maybe she'll change my due date. At the last appointment I was measuring 3 weeks ahead of schedule, so I'm interested to see how our little guy measures this time.
