The waiting game has arrived. I'm starting to get anxious for our little guy to show up. It wasn't so bad before when I was feeling better, but since last Thursday I have just felt horrible. It doesn't help that my hormones must be getting ready for our little guy to arrive as well because I've been an emotional wreck.
I went to the midwife yesterday and she said that our little guy is down there as low as he can get without me going into labor. She also estimates that he's about 8 1/2 pounds already. I'm praying he'll come sooner rather than later before he gains any more weight! I still have 6 days till my due date, but the midwife said I could expect to go into labor at any second (a change from last week when she though I might need to prepare myself that he could come late). I'm trying not to get my hopes up, as I know that "any second" realistically could be today or could be 2 weeks from now.
I'm definitely running out of energy. I spent most of Monday resting only to wake up Tuesday ready to nest. I was able to get the house all cleaned up (I even vacuumed out all of our window sills and fan blades) and took a nice long walk. Today I'm back to feeling tired and didn't end up getting out of bed until 8:30 (very rare for me). I'm definitely not pushing myself to do much this week unless I have the energy for it. Rest and taking it easy is on my agenda! I know once this baby gets here I won't have that opportunity again for at least the next 18 years! :)

I was just thinking about how you were doing this morning! I get nervous when you don't post for a few days, thinking maybe the baby had arrived. Try to enjoy the time left! Good luck!
Hang in there! It won't be long now! Can't wait to see pictures of your handsome little man!
How exciting!! I know exactly how you are feeling, that mix of exhaustion and the drive to get things done. My little guy was 8 and 1/2 pounds:) Hoping you get some rest these last few days, can't wait to hear all about your babies arrival.
