I've been reminded by a few people that I've been an incognito blogger lately. Sorry about that - I just don't have a whole lot to write about unless you care to hear about my cleaning and organizing adventures. Folding onesies just isn't all that exciting.

We did have a good weekend that didn't involve to much preparing for baby activities. We went to a dinner party on Friday night followed by a trip to a piano bar with friends from church. The man behind the grand piano was amazing. He looked more like a lumberjack than an entertainer with his bald head, long beard and red suspenders, but he really knew his stuff when it came to 'tickling the ivories!'

Saturday we finally finished the baby's room - yea! It didn't take long as I had most of it completed but just needed help from Steve putting up a wall decal. I'm so happy to have that room 99% finished now! Pictures will follow...eventually.

We spent the afternoon at a friends house watching the world cup and then we all went to the Mallards game in the evening. Steve got a corndog (one of his favorite things to eat ever) and was in heaven!

Sunday was a busy day - church, grocery shopping, helped a friend move (again), went to a graduation party, went to the hurling game and then came home exhausted.

Two weeks to go now before our little guy will arrive. Technically, since I've been measuring two weeks ahead of schedule all along the midwives have told me to expect him at any moment, but at this point I think he's gonna wait it out. I haven't really been having any contractions, nor do I feel like he's ready to make his entrance yet. I have been sleeping so horribly at night and my heartburn and acid reflux has reached an all time completely annoying level. The tums are no longer helping. Everyone keeps telling me that I've dropped, but I just don't really see it. What do I know though? I'm never done this pregnancy thing before. Tomorrow I go to the midwife, so I guess we'll see if I'm dilated at all then.

That's about it from our neck of the woods. Now you can understand why I haven't been blogging - I truly have nothing noteworthy to write about.
