just a boring update

It's been an "at home" kind of week. Besides leaving the house to go to Target on Monday, going to vote on Tuesday and then going to a mom's group yesterday I haven't left the house and I haven't really minded it. Asher's not being feeling so good and I figured he needed to just be home after being so "peopled out" in St. Louis. Somehow though, it still feels like I've been busy. How can that be?

On to other news, I found an i-tunes gift card in the bottom of one of my old purses yesterday that had been there for who knows how long. I really like the band "Mumford and Sons" so I happily bought the album and have been listening to it ever since. I really like their sound - kinda folky rock.

This is us yesterday - Ashman has been not so happy with this cold so out of desperation I stuck him on the bathroom floor, shut the door (don't worry, I stayed with him) and turned on a hot shower to get the steam flowing and he was out in minutes!

Now, before you all say "ew" (like my husband did when he came home), let me assure that I'm not that disgusting mom that just puts her kid on the bathroom floor. I had literally just taken that bathroom rug out of the dryer from being washed not even half an hour before my little guy occupied it.

I don't know what's come over me, but I've been all into cleaning lately. I think it's because Asher is napping for longer stretches so I actually have time to dedicate to a project. I've been loving it! Seriously, if I didn't know better I would think I was nesting and pregnant! Hopefully all this cleaning keeps up! For now, I gotta go mop the floors (for the 3rd time this week) before my little man wakes up.
